My Approach

My goal above all is to offer you a place which feels welcoming and safe so that you can explore your concerns at your own pace. Building a genuine therapeutic relationship is important to me. I fully believe that you are the expert on your own life and I understand that offering advice can be unhelpful. Healing in connection with another person is what I offer - a witness, a companion, someone who understands.

Confidentiality is very important to me. I am a member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy as a fully accredited member and I abide by the IACP Code of Ethics and Practice.

I hold a BA(Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy from MTU in Cork and I am trained as an Integrative Psychotherapist. This means I draw on a variety of approaches to offer what works for you. These approaches include Person Centred Therapy, Mindfulness, CBT, NARM, Gestalt and Internal Family Systems.
